MENLO PARK, Calif. — Meta Platforms has successfully optimized its consumer-facing optics by deploying an over-the-air firmware update designed to seamlessly mask the physiological symptoms of voyeurism. The "Quirk-Sync" algorithm dynamically alters the wearer’s resting face to project harmless tech-enthusiasm, a critical pivot for a wearable previously categorized under the "litigation-pending" asset class.

"By leveraging generative AI to adjust the micro-expressions of our user base, we are achieving synergistic alignment with public decency laws," said Braedon Furlong, Meta’s Vice President of Plausible Deniability. "In layman's terms, our metrics showed that people taking covert urinal photos looked like massive creeps, so we built a filter that makes them look like they are just really excited about a B2B SaaS podcast."

According to a Q3 deck leaked to The Trough, the "Pervert-to-Disruptor" pipeline has already yielded a 400% increase in unconsented data acquisition without triggering physical assaults from bystanders.

"We consider this a massive win for our global supply chain," noted Furlong, gesturing to a downward-trending chart of smashed spectacles. "Now, when our underpaid contractors in Nairobi have to manually annotate footage of a gym locker room, they can at least take comfort in knowing the person who filmed it looked like an adorkable founder."

Shares of Meta rose 4% following the announcement, driven by investor confidence that the company had finally solved the human rights crisis of looking uncool while violating federal law.
